Trail Overview
Starting near Stud Horse Point, this trail starts as an access road for the power lines. There is a steep, rocky 200 vertical foot descent to the valley floor, followed by five miles of meandering high-speed sand track. Near the north end, some unexpected hoodoos are present. Watch for cattle on the open range sections.
