Trail Overview

Heber Mountain is a quiet, gentle escape into the pines and aspens along a narrow, meandering road. In spring and early summer, meadows filled with fragrant wildflowers may flank parts of the journey. On the eastern half, the vegetation opens to grass meadows and a smoother ride.

Difficulty

The road is mostly easy with loose rock and dirt. There are some deep ruts, and the road can skirt the side of steep mountains. But the largest obstacles were less than about 12" in height. There are a few places with deep ruts, but they can be avoided by choosing an easier line.
