Trail Overview

Heads of the Creek Road is a mostly hard-packed dirt trail with some sandy sections and embedded rocks. The rocks on the trail are generally smooth and easy to navigate around. This trail is a great offshoot from Smoky Mountain Road and Left-Hand Collett Canyon. You'll pass by some stunning rock formations as the trail winds its way through the valley. Keep in mind that this is an open cattle range and livestock may be on or close to the trail.

Difficulty

The only real difficulty here might be for motorcycles navigating some of the sandier, loose dirt sections. Vehicles of the 4-wheel variety shouldn't encounter any issues. The trail is very similar in difficulty to the surrounding trails and roads in the area.
