Trail Overview
Gooseberry Mesa and the surrounding area are a mecca for all things dirt biking and hiking. There is an endless network of trails in this region. Off this particular road you'll find the White Trailhead. This section of trail is more damaged than the maintained road you take to get in. Large (mud) holes and ruts exists in both dry and wet conditions. Easier by-passes are created around those sections. This trail may become impassable in wet conditions and should be avoided at that time to prevent further damage. Primitive camping spots all along this trail. The views overlooking the desert floor below, as well as the South side of Zions National Park canyon, are pretty incredible to say the least. Summer months will reach triple digit temperatures - plan accordingly with plenty of water.
