Trail Overview

Eze Peezy is a 10-mile point-to-point trail rated 3 of 10 located within the Sand Mountain Open Off-Highway Vehicle Area. This 3-rated trail offers very mild versions of every type of terrain offered on Sand Mountain. The trail offers sand track, short stretches on the sand dunes, ra ocky connector trail, and some easy climbs and descents. Located mostly on the northwest portion of the OHV area, it offers views of Pine Valley Mountain, Zion National Park ridges, Quail Lake, and Sand Hollow. The trail winds around many of the larger trails located in the same area, including John's Trail, Roller Coaster, and Sliplock Gulch. The trail starts and ends at Waddy's Corral, and I would expect it to take 2-3 hours to run. Cellphone coverage is generally good throughout the trail, and the nearest services are located in Hurricane. The Sand Mountain OHV recreation area is open year-round and requires that a safety flag be flown when on the mountain.
