Trail Overview
D7400 starts on the south end on D2915, a Jeep road. The trail is a mix of sand and dirt, with some embedded rock slabs. It goes up and over small hills and into a sandy wash, and sometimes is elevated above the wash. The trail will parallel the wash, then cross it on the corners, and it keeps going like that for a while. The trail really dips down low every time it crosses the wash, having to drop a couple of feet down to the wash. The wash goes below some really interesting-looking desert bluffs. After 1.2 miles, the trail turns into Oil Well Wash and continues north.

Difficulty
This is a 2 difficulty because there are a lot of deep dips into the sandy washes that would require high clearance and 4x4.
