Trail Overview
Just 5 miles outside of Beaver, Utah, is some of the finest and most fun riding in this area. This track connects you from Beaver to "The Face," which connects you to Jim Reed to "The Face," going up over the top of the mountain. These trails make up part of PST 5. There is one gate on this trail, and if it's closed when you arrive, please close it after you go through it. The trails are easy, but rocky, as you wind through the prairie grasses and sagebrush and then on up to the pinyon pine trees. You gain a little elevation as you follow this trail, and you begin to get the coolness of the mountain by the time you hit "The Face." This area is managed by the BLM, and there is some private property nearby, so this track keeps you on public lands.
