Trail Overview

Slither Spur is the second half of the Y-shaped Slither trail, connecting Turkey Creek to Park Road 2. This section is the more challenging half, featuring multiple 3 to 4-foot-tall rock ledges and turns around trees that often require hitting ledges at odd angles. While the trail is fairly wide, obstacles typically span its full width. The easiest lines are along the far sides, though tree contact is likely. Ledges grow taller toward the trail's middle, and skid plate contact is expected, making this section a more difficult portion of the route.

Difficulty

Skid plate contact and tree strikes are highly probable. Off camber section will vary based on vehicles wheelbase. Sections of loose rock litter the trail and have the potential to shift under the vehicle. In case of winching, there are plenty of trees to use as an anchor with proper recovery gear.
