Trail Overview
All the rumors about Chuck Norris are 100% true. This trail features steep climbs and descents approaching 30 and 40 degrees. If that wasn't extreme enough, on these climbs and descents, there are off-camber portions that will lean you over 30 degrees to one side or another, with sharp turns and rocky areas throughout their entirety. There are several 2 to 3-foot ledges scattered about to keep it interesting. For longer wheelbase vehicles, there are sharp breakover angles that will provide even more challenge. There is a minimum tire size of 37" for most vehicles, but longer wheelbases may need even larger. Pay special attention to tire placement and upcoming obstacles. One spot features a long, steep climb with a right-hand turn at the top. The top and descent back down is a narrow path with drop-offs on either side that will require careful tire placement and control to safely descend. While focusing on tire placement, be sure to take a moment to appreciate the spectacular views from one of the highest trail points in the bottom of the canyon. It is highly recommended to have a seasoned crew with excellent spotters as well as recovery gear. Mr. Norris is an absolute challenge, but it is a well-earned victory to those who can successfully complete it.

Difficulty
This is a difficult rail with off camber portions with angles of over 30 degrees and climbs and decents of over 30 degrees. More than one ledge over 2.5 feet tall that can be undercut at times. There are very few winch points on this trail, with the lack of trees in the are,a so wheeling alone is strongly discouraged. Breakovers are very sharp, so long wheelbase vehicles will get hung up on them often. One climb leads to a narrow ridge with a right-hand turn that you will need to be very careful and make sure you are centered in the trail before continuing.
