Trail Overview
Boca Chica Beach is located at the border of the United States and Mexico. It is also where the Rio Grande River ends and meets with the Gulf Of Mexico. This beach is similar to Padre Island National Seashore and South Padre Island. There are trails located on the northwest section of the beach by the jetties. From the southern point of the beach, you can see Mexico. One very unique feature about this beach is that SpaceX is located at the entrance of the beach. It is where they launch and test their Starship rockets. The only negative part about SpaceX being located here is that there is a lot of beach closures when testing is happening, so check Cameron County's website for road status before you head out.

It can get really difficult at high tide. Some heavy set 4x4s may get stuck. At times you may encounter logs and other obstacles.
