Jeepers, get your badges! This Jeep Badge of Honor trail is on the easier side with three short rock step formations and mud holes. This trail also runs simultaneously with Trail G26, should you need a quick exit. Trail 26 runs downhill for the first two rock steps from the East to West. It is full of loose rock and little to no large boulder formations. Wind Rock Park considers this trail blue in difficulty.

A stock 4x4 vehicle can complete this trail with little issues, however ground clearance or skid plates are highly recommended due to the short steep grades. After a heavy rain or running the trail from West to East, greater difficulty will apply.

Took this trail to brushy mtn, wasn’t expecting as technical of a route riding down the rock bottom, but it was great. Glad for the clearance and suspension! Lots of sloppy mud once you cross the creek, but made the first trip through in 2WD. Needed 4WD to come back up the rock bottom and climb where this photo was taken.

Trail was well maintained. The entrance is a pretty tight switchback and it was tight with my cap and tent. You can make it but I don't remember reading about that. The majority of the trail is mild. However, there are two places where even on 37" tires I still hit my hitch. One is in the middle of the decent on the rock garden. The second is after you exit the rock garden. There is a dirt section with rocks in it. There is a large drop off that is slightly off camber and you have to pick a good line. I would recommend having a spotter for those two places. Great trail.

Jeep BOH Trail 26. From East, early on trail there's a signifcant shale shelf with several ways to traverse-or-roll over. Long downhill creek bed w/8-12 rocks for several hundred feet. Sticky mud on lower portion. Tr.27 closed for maintenance so no turn around. Left park onto State property and then Petros,TN 30 min ride back to General Store via hwys TN116 and TN62. first time to Windrock; 2000 jeep TJ - 3"lift w/ 33" ironman m/t. "Moderate" for a newbie with ideal conditions. would be a "thrill" with wet conditions

We’ve run Trail 26 many times, but it had the sloppiest mud we’ve ever seen on it this time despite not much rain in the area recently. Trail 26 is one of our favorite trails for rock climbing in a moderately lifted Jeep. There are a few waterfall ledges to climb as well as some rocky rutted sections. Definitely recommend this trail.
