Trail Overview

Rafter Road is a well-maintained 2-vehicle-wide gravel road with several residences throughout. There are some beautiful views of the mountains on the west end, and a nice creek crossing about halfway on this section. You may encounter potholes or downed trees while traveling this road, but most vehicles can also travel without any issues. Please drive respectfully in this area, as many homes are along this road.

Access Description

Access can be from the Cherohala Skyway from the east or Rafter Road from the west. Cane Creek road can also be used to access from the south, but this is a much more technical trail that is not well maintained having some deep ruts, mud, rocks and higher likelihood of downed trees.
