Trail Overview

This trail is a well maintained road that is mostly 1 car width wide and has several spots to turn into if you encounter another vehicle. The trail winds through Rich Mountain via switch backs. The trail takes you up and over overlooks for very nice views and places to stop and picnic. I did encounter some, but very few ruts in the trail. At the end of the trail, you will find a four-way split. I took several routes at one point, and they all take you on a more advanced trail. A side by side would flourish here at this point but prior to this point, it is a very easy beginner trail.

Very easy trail can be done in stock vehicles. Trail was clear. We did the whole thing in 2wd. There are some nice views from trail.

Pretty easy trail, some steep climbs and some rocks. Awesome view for most of the trail, very steep drop off tho, not recommended if you’re scared of heights. The end has an optional steep muddy climb.
