Trail Overview

Trail 8E- A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 8E is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with some skill. Trail 8E is just under 2/10ths of a mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. This trail is dirt and loose rocks, with some running water and standing water on the trail in a few locations. You may encounter some washout or rutting as well, especially on one end of the Trail at the intersection of 9B, where there is a quick and steep descent on loose rocks. Trail 8E is a connector trail between Trail 8 and Trail 9B. It is mostly one vehicle wide with areas to pass. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail is mostly in the open, offering some views of the surrounding valley and mountains. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.

This is an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks and washes and minor mud holes. The trail is one vehicle wide with limited places to pass.
