Rock Run - FS 117

Trail Overview

Rock Run (FS 117) is a gravel and dirt-packed surface road. The scenery is nice on this drive. At the end is a Wild Turkey Habitat setup by Boy Scout Troop 35 and maintained by the Sheffield Rod and Gun Club. This road is open to high-clearance vehicles only. There are a few motorized dispersed camping spots. Accessibility: Like many forest roads, its condition can vary, and it is best to check the Allegheny National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for the latest information on its status. Conditions are also subject to weather and seasonal changes.
