Trail Overview
A fairly typical Pennsylvania state forest road. It is peaceful and quiet. This road receives no winter maintenance, and the north end, where there is about 600 feet of elevation change, is not recommended for winter travel. At times, some of the ruts on the north end of the road may require caution without good tires and 4 driven wheels. Both cautions are due to there being no guardrail, a narrow road, and loose gravel even when dry. Please be respectful of the private land to the south and heed the posted signs. There is some private land at both ends of the road. Be cautious of deer crossing the road, even during mid-day, most seasons.
