Trail Overview
Blue Lagoon Boulevard- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Blue Lagoon Boulevard is an original trail to the park, and it should be able to be traversed by anyone. Blue Lagoon Boulevard is 6/10ths of a mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. One end of Blue Lagoon Boulevard starts at the end of Coal Haul Road near Red Oak Campground. It is an improved roadway from here through Maple Grove Campground before turning to a rocky trail until the Rock Run property line and the intersection of Trail 12. In this section, you will encounter multiple embedded and loose rocks of various sizes, 12 inches and under. There is also an intersection with Porky Flats Road. This is a wide trail in both sections with ample room to pass other vehicles. It is open to all vehicle types. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in July 2025.
