Trail Overview
Hop Run - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Hop Run should be able to be traversed by anyone with a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. At 8/10ths of a mile in length, it was built as part of the second phase of the park. One end starts off the Play Pond Path Blue Trail, and the other end is at Raptor Path Road. This trail travels through both the woods and open meadows and "hops" in elevation in a few locations. It offers a variety of terrain with embedded rocks and a few loose rocks, but it is relatively easier in comparison to the overall trail network. Hop Run is a point-to-point trail with no intersecting trails along its entirety. This trail is open to motorcycles, OHV, ATV, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
