Trail Overview
Harry's Valley Road is a well-maintained gravel trail in Rothrock State Forest. The trail climbs to a saddle before descending. The trail passes a few private cabins as it traverses a forest of deciduous trees, rhododendrons, and small creeks. The spring rhododendron bloom and fall foliage are especially scenic. The areas by the side of the road have been logged between miles 2-4 with additional timber lots posted for sale. There are a few spur roads and pull-off areas from the logging activities. The trail is one vehicle wide with occasional areas to pull off and pass. Only highway-legal vehicles are allowed. ATVs are not allowed.
