Locust Gap 51 has a wide variety of terrain and obstacles for such a short trail. Be prepared for small and medium-sized rocks, water obstacles that are hiding in the rocky terrain, washouts, and up and downhills with loose terrain. Full-size vehicles will find the trail narrow and tight. There are some coal mining remains along the trails.
