Trail Overview
Gobbler Ridge - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located on the Northern End of the park, Gobbler Ridge should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with some skill. It is just under 2 miles in length and was built as part of the second phase of the park. Gobler Ridge both starts and ends on Turkey Flats Road at different points. Gobbler Ridge has a number of changes in elevation as it travels across the ridge. Gobbler Ridge offers a variety of conditions across its length, from the woods to open areas, mud and deep ruts, tight areas with trees and other obstacles to open trail. It offers some views in a few locations of the surrounding area, but keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife, namely turkey. You will encounter mostly embedded rocks, but there are some sections of loose rocks as well. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
