Barney's Ridge Road is an ungraded gravel and dirt road that dead ends at the state forest boundary. It is an easy ride in the summer months, however there is no winter maintenance. During times of rain, snow, and ice the road will become harder to travel on. Barney's Ridge Road is within Sproul State Forest.

Barney's Ridge Road is primarily a north-south running dead-end road. It is accessed on the south from Pennsylvania State Route 144 south out of Renovo in Clinton County.
