Trail Overview

The first trail marker you find on your way down Abbott Road towards the staging area. Muddy ruts, medium-sized rocks, deep water holes, tall ledges, and a play area are mid-way down the trail. Past the play area 2 separate trails, one being easy and the other is more difficult. There are several rock gardens for those with larger tires; doable with 31s, but 33s are recommended. Big whoops with deep holes and steep climbs. The trail ends at a staging area.

If you enter Trail 800 from the west side to go eastbound, TURN RIGHT to use the trail. After the entrance there’s three apparent directions you could go. The straight/center option looks well used, but it goes downhill and to the right along a cliff. I found out the hard way that it’s a dead end, and there’s no turnaround. The trail there is cambered toward the cliff edge in some places, and it is muddy & slippery. Once on the real trail though, it was great. Muddy and challenging for my ‘13 Tacoma TRD OR, but super fun.
