Trail Overview
Three Fingers Viewpoint Trail is a short but rugged climb that rewards with 360-degree panoramic views and a close-up of the dramatic Three Fingers rock formation. The trail begins with a very steep and rocky ascent, where 4-Low is highly recommended for control and traction. After the initial steep climb, there is a rock garden to maneuver around. Then the route crosses a high meadow saddle before reaching a scenic viewpoint just below the base of the Three Fingers. Though short in distance, the terrain is very rocky and slow-moving--airing down your tires is essential for comfort and traction. This trail is all about elevation, technical driving, and big visual payoff.
