Trail Overview

Three Fingers Gulch Trail is a rugged and scenic desert route that winds through a remote valley filled with rabbitbrush and sage, offering a fun, technical drive with panoramic views of the iconic Three Fingers formation and the dramatic Moon Rocks area. The dirt road is rough and bumpy, with numerous small rocks, uneven terrain, and a few sections testing your vehicle's articulation capabilities. You'll dip in and out of several washes, some of which feature steep approach and departure angles--making momentum and throttle control key. Very deep ruts in spots mean you'll need to choose your lines carefully. The trail ends at the Moon Rock site, a great destination for photos, lunch, or exploring on foot. Keep an eye out for free-ranging cattle that may be grazing near the trail.
