Trail Overview

Kirk Rd is an easy trail that lends access to tons of fun offshoots. This trail is best travelled on the weekends due to logging activity throughout the week. The road is wide enough for 2 vehicles to allow for easy exploration and passing, and it is well maintained during the warmer months. The main road texture is compact red dirt with loose gravel in certain patches. From Kirk Road, you are offered access to Solomon Butte, Wocus Butte, Wocus Bay, and many more.

Difficulty

The road is well-maintained and does not have any large ruts to be concerned with. The main danger on this trail is log trucks. To avoid any encounters with log trucks, simply drive this trail on the weekend. During the winter months the road may be snowed over due to inactivity, which will increase this rating. The road is very wide, not steep, and easy to drive.
