Trail 81 is a 7.7-mile route that is more moderate in difficulty compared to the surrounding trails due to its length and physical demands. It features a narrow path that tightly winds through forested terrain, with a mix of smooth and rocky surface conditions. Continuous deep whoops throughout the trail can be tiring for riders. A few small sections include embedded rock layers forming six-inch ledges on steeper slopes. The trail also passes through scenic areas with lava rock, offering both challenge and visual interest. Quads are not recommended on this route.
