Trail Overview

This trail is right off of the main HWY 259, and has plenty of amazing views and off shoot trails to explore. This trail is also seasonal so please check the maps and signs. It appears to have a decent camping spot at the end near the water, but it would only be accessible for smaller well built 4x4 vehicles.

Difficulty

The trail is washed out and very rocky. Most 4x4 vehicles could do this with no problem.

This trail becomes very narrow mid way through. Aside from that it is easy going!

The trail was nice and wide lots of the trees have been cut down on both sides of the road. The road has been smooth out for the legth of the trail minus the up keep. We found 2 wheel drive cars and minivans could make it to the camp sites as well as campers trailers. We did this in a 2018 Z71 in 2 wheel drive.

Trail was great. It narrowed as you approached the end. Past the final campsite (great camping area) there is a narrow trail that allows you to continue onto a peninsula.
