Trail Overview

The East 200 is part of the Oklahoma Adventure Trail and is a well-maintained and flat gravel road that winds its way through a patchwork of lush, green farmland. While the scenery is peaceful, caution is advised as local traffic can be unpredictable, and speeds should be kept low. This stretch of trail does not offer any dispersed camping opportunities and lacks basic amenities such as trash disposal and potable water. Cell service is limited throughout the area, so preparation is essential before venturing onto this otherwise gentle and accessible route.

The trail is well-maintained and routinely graded to support a range of local use, from daily agricultural traffic by farmers to occasional travelers and outdoor enthusiasts passing through the area. Its good condition makes it easily accessible and reliable for all types of vehicles.

History

The Oklahoma Adventure Trail is a unique and ever-changing route that crosses through the state and allows visitors to avoid major roads and towns. Created by two Oklahomans and contributed to by numerous more, this trail is 70 percent dirt roads and 30 percent paved that takes riders and hikers through scenic, historical and diverse regions throughout Oklahoma. Although the route was curated by dual-sport motorcycle riders, the Oklahoma Adventure Trail can be ridden in a 4x4 vehicle, bicycled or hiked.
