Special Note: To access this trail, an Oklahoma Hunting or Fishing license is required. Area 3,4&5 trail begins at the Hughes Crossing, one of the most famous river crossings in the state of Oklahoma. The crossing at normal water levels, any vehicle can cross, even motorcycles. This Crossing is 1 lane traffic only. The 3,4&5 trails offer many primitive camping spots. These campsites are first come first serve. These trails are well-maintained. Low clearance vehicles and 2WD vehicles can have difficulty getting in and out of the camping sites due to inclines and loose gravel surface. The main route is fine for most vehicles except for those with low clearance.
