Trail Overview

This trail is from Lake Hope to Zaleski Vinton County Tunnel Loop West. This starts at Lake Hope and runs counterclockwise south through Vinton County, passing Campbell Tunnel which was recently closed through the Appalachian Foothills. Gas and food can be found along the way and the route is good for a day trip. You can do the entire loop in about six hours.

Generally an easy course. A lot of main roads, but the start in to the trail has some nice little scenes. Cool little photos spots. No issues during this. Extremely easily done in RWD.

Rather boring drive but would be beautiful in the fall. 2wd on gravel sections. Lots of paved road but scenic in nature. Anyone can drive this with any vehicle.
