This trail is open from May 31 to December 1. It is a seasonal road that has varying surface types but is primarily gravel and offers plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. Deer are often spotted trailside and in June, snapping turtles are digging nest sites right on the road surface. Plenty of camp spots and hiking trailheads along its length. No ATVs or SXSs are allowed on this road.
