Evelund Road

Trail Overview

This seasonal road climbs out of the valley on the south end to the top of a hill at the north end. The road winds through wooded sections and opens to large fields at the top. Windmills can be spotted at the top where the road intersects with another seasonal road. Great views of the surrounding hills can be seen, making this a great road for observing the changing foliage in the Fall.

Difficulty

This road is simple to navigate and free from obstacles in typical conditions. It is not maintained during the Winter months and may be difficult to travel following heavy snow. The open fields may cause drifting, and the steep incline will be slick.
