Trail Overview
The east end of FS 5007C starts at an intersection with FS 5006, and it is immediately covered in loose softball-sized rocks that ping you around and make for a slower ride. The trail descends steeply with one big hairpin turn. It intersects with FS 5007 and continues on a rutted two-track, then climbs through the forest again with a heavy layer of loose rock. Most of the rocks are packed down, and the loamy soil has good traction, so it's not too difficult, just a bumpy ride. There were several small downed trees and branches encroaching into the trail that could be ridden over, but the trail system looks well-maintained and trafficked enough that it likely gets cleared for the season of any downfall. The trail makes a sharp left turn at the intersection with the Shortcut Trail and continues to curve around the hillside through a forested tree corridor, where the trail is slightly more narrow and exposed, until the intersection with FS 5007A, where it ends.

Difficulty
This is an easy ATV trail despite a heavy layer of loose rock that makes for a bumpy ride, but doesn't significantly increase the difficulty. There are minor ruts and a couple of steeper spots, but overall it is approachable for less experienced riders.
