This route travels north to south and connects FR 103 Mountain Escape with FR 70 American Park. At the southern end of this route, there are several dispersed camping spots. Mud holes and deep shoulder ruts from rain drainage change the trail's complexity. Elk calving closes the trail from May 15 through June 30 annually.
