Trail Overview
Corral Canyon Trail starts at a shoulder on Sacramento Canyon Road and connects to Agua Chiquita Road. Note that Sacramento Canyon Road is paved and does not allow OHVs. It starts in a grassy meadow, then gets on a rutted dirt two-track full of small loose rocks that are packed down into the loamy dirt. The trail is trodden in spots and off-camber, with banked walls and significant ruts. It climbs up rather steeply, gaining over 800 feet in just 1.3 miles. The trail had several large trees down, blocking the trail from a recent windstorm (in early spring) that will need to be cut for ATVs to get through; however, it looks like this trail system is generally well-maintained, and any logs will get cleared for the season. Although short, it's a moderate access route that takes you deeper into the trail system.

Difficulty
The difficulty rating is based on whether the trail was cleared of the major logs that were present at the time, which is likely, as this trail system is highly maintained and well-trafficked. Overall, it's a moderate trail due to a steep grade and a consistent layer of loose and embedded rocks, some of which create small stair steps. Expect some deep ruts and troughs and steep spots as well.
