Trail Overview
This is a mid-width trail ideal for 60" SXSs, ATVs, and dirt bikes that goes through a badlands-type desert terrain between Aztec and Bloomfield, New Mexico. It goes on a ridgeline on the soft clay dirt hills, overlooking the valley below. Watch out for the barbed wire fence that parallels the trail in the northern beginning. The ridgeline has big dips, washouts, ruts, and whoops, but no major obstacles. It does have some exposure on the edge of the mesa bluffs though, and may feel narrow for SXS at times. It has short little hill climbs and descents as it goes between each hilltop along the ridgeline. It crosses oil well access roads and rides past a couple of active oil wells. The south end of the trail ends in a park in the town of Bloomfield. It drops down a big descent from the hilltop down to the Lybertee Park.

Difficulty
This is an easy SXS trail, but does have some spots on the ridge that are a bit narrow, and has some big wash outs. Trail conditions are constantly changing in this type of terrain.
