Trail Overview

This is an out-and-back. The map shows you can exit the trail at Angel's Landing, but you cannot as of December 2023. It takes 3 hours to complete, including plenty of time to take in the views. The entrance to this trail is awkward and faces east. Enter the trail coming down the mountain (driving east) for a smooth entry. After entry, the trail turns to a wash trail which is easy and fun, then a left onto Powerline Road for a short bit. Powerline Road is a bumpy hilly trail, though short. Wooden Pole Powerline Road has one obstacle where 4WD is necessary. This obstacle has a bypass, though it isn't great. The entire trail is steep hill climbs and descents. There are rock gardens, loose rock, washes, hill climbs, and technical obstacles. This trail's views are some of the best of Mount Charleston. The views are worth it!

Access Description

Head east and down the mountain from Kyle Canyon and enter the trail on the left. You can enter heading west, heading up the mountain, though the approach angle is weird.
