Trail Overview

Starting out from Trout Canyon, the trail is pleasant and easy with gravel/dirt washes, and then it gets tougher. There are portions of the trail that run through washes, and that area floods terribly so the washes are different each time the area gets rain. Several hills and sections required 4WD, and in one case 4-low, nothing more though. Air down for a nicer ride and stop to check out the views. Towards the end of the trail just before you hit the gate and highway, there is a crazy tiny canyon made from water runoff. Be sure to stop occasionally and smell the Joshua trees. Note that this trail may be very different after massive flooding in August 2023.

We decided to make a left after taking Mt Springs to Pahrump trail, well the Gladdy did well, but definitely scraped the towbar skid plate more than a few times and definitely pinned stripped (it'll buff out). definitely challenging for us, but had a wonderful time. Beautiful Views.
