Trail Overview
Wildcat Road is an out-and-back trail that at one point parallels private property. You will be greeted with scenic overlooks along the way from atop a ridge. At the end of this trail is Merriman Cemetery which is 2.5 miles down the trail. Once at the cemetery, there is an area where you can easily turn around. There are tire tracks that show continuing past this point, however, this is marked for non-motorized use according to the 2024 Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUM).

Difficulty
This is a fairly easy trail and can be done in any stock 4WD vehicle. You should expect tree limbs, branches, or even whole trees to be down on the trail sometimes. The trail can get muddy after recent rainfall. The other thing to be aware of is there is part of an old barbed wire fence on the trail. This has very small barbs on it but it still could puncture a tire, At this point driving between the 2 trees on the trail is the best option to try to avoid it.
Wildcat Road can be accessed by the following ride types:
- High-Clearance 4x4
- SUV
- SxS (60")
- ATV (50")
- Dirt Bike
