Red 283 is a non-directional trail that is located on the southeastern corner of the park. You can run the trail from either direction. Red 283 is connected to Green 5 at one end and Crawler Alley 23 at the other end. There are no other direct connecting trails.

Difficulty
This trail is very steep the whole way through it. If coming from the bottom there are rock steps towards the top that have undercuts up to 4 feet tall. Most of the trail is loose rock making traction challenging. It may be better to do this trail from the top down but with how steep the hill is there could be a possible rollover.
