Trail Overview
Kemlin Hollow (FS 2627) is a natural gravel and dirt road within the Potosi Unit of Mark Twain National Forest. The road begins at Berryman Road and the upper ridge it rests on, heading south, first riding on generally flat ground, to the point the trail narrows into a pine-filled downhill with small natural rock poking out at the surface, with cobbles scattered over the path, to then climb back up hill to a similar elevation to the opposite side of this small valley. The track then encounters small elevation changes along a mostly dirt path, featuring surface mud, amongst tight trees, only to meet an opening with a decent view to the south. Here is where the MVUM Sanctioned Road ends; users must continue on the southeastward path on foot or turn around and head back the way they entered.

Difficulty
Kemlin Hollow is given a base rating of 2/10 for being a narrow natural gravel and dirt road with mild erosion rutting along the mildly graded hills, natural rock poking out at the surface, potential surface mud, and small water collection spots. It is safe to expect potholes, washboarding, and other gravel road complications. Difficulty can increase in times of wet conditions, heavy use, and through a lack of maintenance. The difficulty could also decrease if the road were to be given a solid gravel surface throughout. Though it is not legally restricted, this trail is not advised for full-size use.
