Trail Overview
This trail begins at Highway 2 and crosses a set of railway tracks before continuing as a mostly straight route, with a few gentle curves appearing closer to the end. It passes through a scenic forest that adds to the overall experience, although the trail itself is narrow, muddy, and shows signs of corrugation in several areas. A wetland section adds variety to the landscape, and there are a number of small spurs and offshoots that branch off from the main trail. Toward the end, the trail leads to a dispersed campground and a few private residences. Cell phone reception may be inconsistent or unavailable in some areas.
