Difficulty

The section is easy and flat converted rail grade. Depending on the time of season and water levels, you might want 4x4 or to lock the rear differential. This section does have some standing water on the trail from spring thaw in an area where the rail grade cut through a large rock ledge. No large rocks seem to be hidden under the water, but perhaps keep that thought in mind and go slow. Water on the trail may be gone at dryer times of the season. The surface is packed gravel without large rocks. Do pay attention to the edge of the trail, as it can have steep backs since it is converted rail grade. Bridge crossings are well-marked and are the only areas you need to use care and slow down.
