This is a minimal/no maintenance trail in the Northwest quadrant of Chippewa National Forest, Trail # 2513. High Clearance, low range transfer case, and winch recommended. A vehicle shouldn't be too tall as there can be significant low-hanging branches and fallen trees. This trail will touch your top, bottom, left, and right sides, sometimes all at the same time. Expect pinstriping. There are a few deep holes with standing water/mud. Be prepared to move a fallen tree or two using straps or a winch.

Narrow one lane path. Very few if any places to pass or turn around. Potential for large downed trees and water/mud holes up to 18" or more.

Took my Taco down this trail. Some spots were a tight fit but was able to maneuver around. Had a couple branches or trees that fell over The trail making it unable to pass without moving or cutting out of the way. Overall, Trail was good.

Expect alot of mud, tight areas, low trees, pin stripes. overall the trail isn’t bad. the entrance on the northern side is honestly the hardest part of the trail. if you go right in the trail you can do the northern entrance to the southern entrance with no issues and no blockages. if you do the left route from the northern entrance you will encounter the down tree that blocks the trail. definitely bringing a better chain saw and opening the trail up next time.
