Trail Overview
This trail is accessed directly from the highway and runs mostly straight for its length, making it an easy route to follow. It is well-maintained and two vehicles wide, allowing for steady travel without much difficulty. Along the way, the trail passes through a variety of landscapes, including residential areas, open fields, patches of forest, and stretches of farmland. Due to the mix of residential and agricultural areas, it is essential to exercise caution when driving and watch for local traffic. The trail eventually reaches a T-junction, which provides access to the South Pike Lake Campground. Other than this junction, the only notable connection is with 60th Avenue, a large, well-maintained two-lane road. No additional side trails are branching off the main route. The trail itself does not offer dispersed or formal camping options and lacks basic amenities, including water and trash disposal. Cell service may be limited in certain sections.
