Trail Overview

West Shore SMT DNR 19 is a fun and easy off-road trail located within the Manistee National Forest. It twists and turns up and down the two-track. Most of the trail consists of sand with some dirt. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a great trail that ends at a lake and another trail, NFS 9850!
