Trail Overview
Tight Twiddler Trail is a scenic and easy off-road trail with nothing technical. The name says it all, a lot of this trail is very tight with overgrowth. Most of the trail is a combination of dirt and sand. You'll weave through a beautiful section of the Cadillac Forest Management Unit that is home to a gorgeous spot of tall Michigan Red Pine Trees. Along this trail, you'll find a dispersed campsite. If you plan on camping off this trail, PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY, and please seek more information at the local DNR Office/Ranger Station prior to camping here. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a neat trail!
