NFS 9944 is a pivotal trail that gives direct access to just under 10 trails within the Manistee National Forest. Most of the trail consists of gravel, sand, and dirt. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, & mud holes. Most of this trail is an easy gravel single-wide trail. Use this route to lead you to some amazing campsites or your next favorite trail. You won't regret taking this track!
