Trail Overview

Meadows M33 loop is dirt bike/ATV friendly. Most of the trail is tree-covered with plenty of swooping corners. I started at the Meadows ORV Campground, and road the trail counterclockwise. The campground is $10 a night and has 8 campsites with fire pits, 2 pit toilets, and a hand well pump. There is no mobile service.

Difficulty

Air down your tires before heading out. If you ride counterclockwise from the campground, the first section is curvey with loose, deep, soft sand and then a 1/8 mile straight away. The rest of the trail is a combination of hard and soft sand. Some small short whoops sections and loose and deep sand at the ORV crossings. I feel the ORV is newbie-friendly, as there are no ruts, drop-offs, or hills.

Excellent riding with nice switch-backs. Some open straight aways. Portions of the trail appeared to have been recently groomed. A few water holes along the way. Dust was minimal except the fast open sections. Sandy in some spots, but mostly nice packed loamy dirt. Loop was a bit difficult to navigate do to a lot of crossings, or maybe I am an idiot. Overall nice loop. I'd would ride it again. Not busy on a Friday afternoon.
